Well, almost lol. Today was wonderful! Sunny and 65 degrees, aced both tests, completed my resume, and spent the day outside with my loves! The park was underwater even more so we went for a walk around the neighborhood. We met this little boy (and his mem!) selling chocolate bars for the local Catholic primary school. We purchased two :) We continued on our way to Ocean State Job Lot. Honestly... I LOVE that place. C and I found a whole bunch of natural products - Tom's of Maine, seaweed soap, and a neti pot :) Also some pretty cool eco-friendly detergent that was buy one, get one. yeahh! Tomorrow's friday and hopefully it'll be another good day :) xo

Today was one of those days.. where you just know that everything is NOT going to be okay. It was raining and so dark out. Munchkin woke up and wanted to go back to sleep, but couldn't because we all had to be out of the house by 830. MISERABLE. Ohhh was she upset. At school, let's just say I'm lucky to be there because of my absences. I'm so determined to make it through that program in good standing, I'm not letting anything deter me. I found a new sitter, and Ari is going to be just fine. The day steadily got worse. Until right now! Things are alright. It's almost 10 and I still have lots of laundry, studying, and picking up to do. Let's hope tomorrow is a brighter day, although I'm sure it will beat today by a landslide. Not to mention, calling the garage to fix the Volkswagen! Ah, that makes me so happy. Here are some photos to inspire some happiness on this dreary night!

All you have to do is hold on tight..
Ari and I had a great time at the park today :) Chasing ducks, playing, climbing, swinging, and petting adorable puppies! After dinner, C went to the store to pick up a few things we needed, namely juice and dishwasher detergent. He came back with eco-friendly detergent (no phosphates or bleach! Yay!) and the Alice in Wonderland dvd. I love my man ♥

A rant and rave!
It's beautiful outside today! I'm very much looking forward to the end of week, where the temperature will be nearing 60 degrees. It's so wonderful to live 2 minutes from a great park, especially now that it's getting warmer. Ari, myself and my two young cousins H and S walked there over the weekend to get a breather from moving, and half of the park was underwater! Rhode Island gets entirely too much snow (but I love it!). Spring is right around the corner, and while I used to dread it's arrival due to my allergies - which have disappeared - I'm starting to really embrace it. I'm loving the feeling of renewal, and of course I just can't wait to be back outdoors!
My sisters fiance R was sick when they came to visit, and naturally we all caught it. It's just a cold, but Ari has been more cuddly than normal, can't say I hate it! I want her to feel better fast, but she's always on the move, so it's kind of a welcome change of pace - does that make me mean? lol. I've been loading her up with fluids, the occasional all natural saline nose spray, and (when she'll take it) Maty's cough syrup. We use the banana flavored, and it's amazing! I'm totally against loading children up with pharmaceuticals, and am always looking for a natural alternative. This is definitely a winner!
Ari rarely gets sick, but when she does it's never been serious enough (to me) to warrant a doctors visit (except in May). We haven't been since October, and I'm happy with that. I know my daughter and I do enough research to be in charge of her healthcare. I'm not saying I know everything, because I definitely don't, but I feel I have more jurisdiction than a man who sees her once every 4 months for a round of shots. I keep up with studies and am always finding new, legitimate information. I love Ari's doctor, but I know I'm definitely being judged for selective / delayed vax'ing. I honestly feel he's going to tell me to find a new pedi when he finds out we aren't allowing her ANY vaccines anymore. Oh well, I've been looking for a holistic health practitioner anyway! It irritates me that so many parents are uninformed, and will keep their children from mine because OMG they're going to catch something. Your kid is vaccinated, you have nothing to worry about....... right? I am NOT bashing anybody's parenting choices, this is what's right for MY family. But don't assume that non-vax'ing is so terrible without doing a little research first. Just ask your doc for the vaccine package inserts! Totally ended up going off on a tangent there, but I'm sick of being ostracised and given horrified looks when anyone asks me anything vaccine-related. I don't even like to talk about it anymore lol. :)
Anyway, my main reason for this post was to show the most ADORABLE Etsy shop! SewnNatural is a mother-daughter team creating eco-friendly goods that will make you want to spend all your money! Everything is handmade, organic and beautiful. I can't get over this wonderful babywearing stuffie I am just dying to purchase for Ari (as well as everything else!) ♥

These roads don't move, you're the one that moves..
UGH. Can this moving stuff be over already?! SO. TIRED. We've been packing, moving, unpacking, and organizing all weekend. My place is still a mess. I swear the next time we go anywhere, it will be into our house! Clutter drives me nuts, so hopefully everything will be done by tomorrow. A big thank you to A and R for spending their last weekend in RI helping us ♥ Love you guys, and miss you already.
School was really good today! It felt good to be back after missing pretty much a whole week due to no sitter for Ari. Tomorrow I'm guessing I'll have to stay home with munchkin, it sucks to miss class but it's important that C is working again. In a month, things should be really bright for us. It's a secret as to why, though! Until the time is right.
Anyway, lately I've been feeling a lot of regret at not being able to breastfeed Ari. I really am unsure why but it's been bothering me. Maybe because everyone seems to be getting pregnant again? She drinks regular milk now - switching to raw! - but so what? I've considered trying fenugreek to boost my supply, but C feels that's "weird", since Ari is 15 months old. I'm also having such a hard time getting him on board for cloth diapers. That's a whole other story, but I must say I think I'm winning this one! (Trust me, I pick and choose my battles ;) I wish I had done all of this research when I first became pregnant, I KNOW things would have been done differently had I been informed like I am now. But I also know that because of the decisions we make/ made, C and I have a beautiful, intelligent, happy and healthy toddler.
I don't plan on having any more children, but this video makes me want to change my mind! I wept. So beautiful, I can't wait to purchase the book ♥

Make a home from rented house..
"And we'll collect the moments one by one, I guess that's how the futures done". ♥
(Love that song, always puts me in a better mood!) Night one in the new place.. could've went a lot better. Our couch won't fit through any door in the building, so we're pretty much screwed with that. NO idea how we're going to get it up here, to the 4th floor.. It's raining today, too - Booooo!
Overall I like it here. It's extremely bright and has lots of space/ storage, which was needed. I'll take pictures once things are set up!
C and I have been on each others last nerves. Moving is kinda stressful, and things are tense. Makes me want to run away and not come back. I hate feeling that awkward unhappiness. All things must pass, but sometimes I feel like I'm making the wrong decision...
Anyway, got lots to do! I'll leave you loveys with a photo - I can NEVER get pictures of Ari sleeping because she won't go down unless it's a dark room, and she's a light sleeper so she wakes up from my camera clicks! Not last night though ;)
